Fabric, Creating Memories SUMMER & OCEAN BLUES by Tilda - Fat EIGHTH Bundle

For this year’s special edition collection, Tone Finnanger chose to realize an idea she had for quite some time, Seasonal Basics with a mix of small-patterned printed and woven fabrics.  The concept is Creating Memories in four seasons, four colorway collections - Spring and Easter Pastels; Summer and Ocean Blues; Autumn, Thanksgiving, Halloween;
and Winter Reds and Greens! 

This Summer & Ocean Blues colorway contains an array of blue fabrics. In addition to
Summer projects, this collection can of course also be useful all year around for any  project where blue fabrics are needed.  The small patterns and rustic feel of the woven fabrics are perfect for sweet and simple quilts.  The Summer and Ocean Blues collection inspired a whale and sailboat quilt, a new blue version of the Duck quilt, as well as pillows and softies with seaside motives. 

Tilda Chambrays are used as a supplement for the projects. Along with the woven fabrics in the collection they give a nice, comforting and timeless rustic feel, perfect for homely sewing projects.
