Hemstitching Veining Attachment, Singer (Vintage Original) - Older Style

Singer Hemstitcher or Veining Attachment allows you to create the appearance of dainty Hemstitching with just a simple adjustment of your upper thread tension. 

Attachment is secured to the machine like a regular presser foot.  Then you will loosely stitch two fabric pieces together.  After pulling the fabric apart and pressing properly, topstitch (using a regular presser foot) along the edge and the dainty effect is accomplished.

Attachment fits all low shank sewing machines including the Singer Featherweight 221, 222*, Singer 15, 27, 28, 66, 99, 101, 127, 128, 185, 192, 201, 237, etc...

This product is the original, older style (28915) but the newer (120687) is available for purchase separately. The function of each variation is the same.

* Yes, this Hemstitching Attachment fits on the 222K model Featherweight.  While the traditional and more common Hemstitching & Picot Edging Attachment does not, this Imitation Hemstitcher allows 222 owners to try their creativity at hemstitching as well.
