Quarter Inch Narrow Hems made easy! One of the quickest and easiest little attachments to learn to use.
You can do a quick finger press twice over for the first inch or so at the beginning of the seam. Then stitched normally for about 4 or 5 stitches and lift the presser foot. Back up the fabric and insert the fold into the curve of the foot and proceed forward. Be sure to hold the fabric like you see in the photos above. You should then have a nicely folded hem all stitched in place. This will work along a bias curve as well as the straight of grain.
LOW SHANK: fits the Singer Featherweight 221, 222K and all low, vertical shank Sewing Machines (i.e. 15, 27, 28, 66, 99, 185, 127, 128, 192, 201, 206, 237, 306, 319, 320, 328, as well as many other brands besides Singer)
