Singer Featherweight Swedish 221K Centennial EG966*** - Fully Restored in Jadeite Milky Green

This Singer Featherweight 221 is absolutely stunning in this 'Jadeite Milky Green' color!  Completely restored inside and out - rest assured, this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case.  This machine is fitted with an original 220v motor that has been rewound to work at 110v, so you can plug it in here in the US or Canada without a converter.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the beauty of this machine.

Aside from the gorgeous color, (one of our signature colors here at the shop) there are a few components of the machine indicating that it was marketed in Sweden: the plaque on the front, the golden "S" motor, and the manual.  This machine is fitted with its original golden "S" 220 volt motor that has been rewound to 110 voltage to work at optimum speed and torque, so you can plug it in and begin sewing with effortless power. These distinguishing Swedish components are very hard to find, and make this machine collectible as well as beautiful!

'EG966' indicates an original commission date of October 17th, 1951.

The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so you won’t have to worry about tension when you receive your machine, but having a numbered tension dial will make it easier to set it back should you need to adjust it for any reason.

The machine is fitted with an original scrolled faceplate and the original case includes the tray for holding the foot controller.
