Singer Featherweight 221K, Centennial - EF566*** - Fully Restored in Delightful Apricot

This 1949 Singer Featherweight 221 is absolutely adorable in delightful apricot with silver decals! Completely restored inside and out - this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew (or display) right out of the case. This machine is fitted with an original 110-volt motor that has been rewound to work at optimum speed and torque. Click on any image above to view the beauty and restoration quality. EF566*** indicates an original commission date of November 7th, 1949. 

This Featherweight was manufactured primarily in Singer's Kilbowie factory but was finished/sold in Canada. This would have taken longer than simply selling the machine in the UK where it was commissioned, so the extended time of transport and final assembly is presumably why this 1949 221 has the commemorative Centennial 1951 badge.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the replica case includes the side tray for holding the attachments.
